This cream is made using the moisturizing base of our Full Cream with the addition 10% MSM (Organic Sulfur) and the removal of Milk Protein. This is the maximum amount of MSM we could add to the cream. Just mention MSM and watch the Naturopaths go nuts about its skin calming properties. The cream uses Sweet Almond Oil which is one of the best moisturising oils for irritated skin due to its essential fatty acid profile. The cream is also fully loaded with other natural skin healing ingredients. These include Allantoin (Comfrey Root Active), Vitamin E, Aloe Vera and Honey. Check our "We Got Mail" Page to see how it has worked for others.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Squalene (Olive), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol (Plant Based Emulsifying Wax), Dimethyl Sulfone (MSM Organic Sulfur), Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera), Allantoin, Piroctone Olamine, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride (Guar Gum), Polysorbate 60 (Food Grade Emulsifier), Mel (Honey), Acetum (Apple Cider Vinegar), Pyrus Communis (Pear) Extract, Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract.

Ingredient

Description

Aqua

When we were told that we have to call our purified water Aqua we thought they were kidding. But we cant fight bureaucracy. So we arent trying to be fancy, but we do need to call our water Aqua sometimes.

Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil

High in the types of fatty acids needed for troubled skin.

Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil

Wonderfully healthy for the skin. So many benefits, it might be best to Google "Olive Oil Skin" instead.

Squalene (Olive)

One of our favourite moisturising oils. It helps leave your skin moisturised and dewy. It is good for all skin types, including acne prone skin.

Our body produces a small amount of squalene, but the amount diminishes when we get older, starting in our twenties. Squalene is required for our skin to keep it moisturised and fight aging. It is also a unique antioxidant from olives that protects our skin from free-radical damages.

Since Olive squalene's composition is very similar to human sebum, it can penetrate our skin very quickly to help our skin to fight dryness. It enhances skin elasticity and moisture retention.

Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil

We used coconut oil as a stabiliser, it also helps to moisturise the skin

Cetearyl Alcohol (Plant Based Emulsifying Wax)

Creams are made from a mix of purified water and oils so as to be more moisturising than oil alone. To hold water and oils together, they need an emulsifying wax. We use a plant based wax that allows the water and oils to stay together.

Dimethyl Sulfone (MSM Organic Sulfur)

MSM is an Organic Sulphur compound which is present in every cell of the body. MSM has been proven to be a great skin softener and soothing compound for irritated skin. Often used in many anti-ageing cosmetic applications. It is non-toxic and promotes healthy skin for all types.

Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E)

We use the more expensive, natural Vitamin E in our creams, not synthetic. We use Natural Vitamin E because we believe it is effective. Vitamin E has antioxidant action as well as free radical scavenger properties. Abundant assortments of researchers from diversified medical fields have theorized that this can slow the aging process. (Sources: Skin Pharmacology and Applied Skin Physiology, November-December 2001, and Free Radical Biology and Medicine, October 1999).

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera)

Aloe Vera. Most people already know the soothing benefits of Aloe Vera. Allantoin is a skin conditioner that has been purified from comfrey. Allantoin is thought to help maintain healthy skin by encouraging the removal of dead skin cells. It is also promoted for preventing lines and wrinkles by assisting skin repair.

Piroctone Olamine

Piroctone Olamine is an anti-yeast ingredient. Non-irritating, it also helps keep the cream free from bacteria and mould.

Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride (Guar Gum)

The Guar bean is a legume. We use a modified guar ingredient sometimes called Guar Silk. It helps make the skin nice and smooth after using our creams.

Polysorbate 60 (Food Grade Emulsifier)

A lot of our customers are small. So small in fact that they have sometimes mistaken the creams their mums or dads put on the nappy change table for food. So we always choose the most edible ingredients we can. Polysorbates are used in a lot of foods like Mayonnaise, Ice-cream etc to hold the cream and water together. We use them to help with the same thing.

Mel (Honey)

Honey is great for the skin and a natural anti-bacterial. However, we love it most for the balance it gives to the Apple Cider Vinegar which we also use. This makes for a beautiful smelling cream without fragrance.

Acetum (Apple Cider Vinegar)

We added this originally to lower pH to that of the skin. But we also love the smell of the cream with this and honey.

Pyrus Communis (Pear) Extract

We have learned over the years that although Essential Oils can be great for some people, some people are highly sensitive. For this reason we tend to avoid them in our creams. We add Pear Extract instead. This is especially to help parents who use our creams on their children. They tend to be much more willing if they like how something smells.

Humulus Lupulus (Hops) Extract

Cosmetic creams need to stay pure from yeast and mould. That is why ingredients like Parabens etc are used by a lot of companies. These work great at achieving their aim, but a lot of our customersprefer products without parabens. We worked for over a year to develop a preservation system based on Hop Extract. All our creams have now been checked for preservative efficacy using the British Pharmacopeia test. We are very proud that we are probably one of the first companies to develop this natural and edible anti-bacterial system into our creams.

Enjoy!

To the lovely folks at MooGoo,

I've never before written to compliment a company's products, but boy does MooGoo deserve it!

I'm 26 years old with extremely sensitive skin and have suffered with sporadic bouts of dermatitis for as long as I can remember. The outbreaks leave me with flaky, itchy, red skin so inflamed that I'm left in constant discomfort. I've been to dermatologists and tried a plethora of creams and cures, but they never work in the long term, and many times have made my skin worse. Besides, I hate the idea of just chucking chemicals on my skin to suppress an outbreak, without actually treating it.

The last outbreak I had was the worst; my skin was so taut and uncomfortable I could barely laugh, raise my eyebrows or open my mouth to eat. It looked bad enough that colleagues asked what happened to my face (embarrassing!) and felt bad enough that even washing it with plain water was irritating. Products I'd had success with in the past weren't helping much, and I was at my wits' end until a nice lady who worked at the chemist suggested MooGoo, even though they didn't stock it!

I Googled your product, liked what I saw and headed to the health food shop on a wing and a prayer because I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I bought the Milk Wash, Ezcema & Psoriasis Balm and the MSM Soothing Cream. I wasn't expecting miracles but with an important presentation looming at work, I was nearing desperation.

OK, I wasn't expecting too much of a difference, but it sure felt like I got one. The first time I washed my face and applied the balm, my face instantly felt more comfortable. No itching, much less taut. I put on the soothing cream and went to bed. Lo and behold, I woke up with visibly improved skin -- not as red, not as flaky, and definitely not as painful.

Within three days, the MooGoo regime had completely cleared up the dermatitis! I have never had such success with a skin cream! Of course, I immediately became devout to my three little go to products, and my skin continued to improve exponentially.

Two months down the track, my skin has never been better. I get compliments all the time! I've not had a dermatitis outbreak since I started using MooGoo, despite the steely cold Autumn weather that would in the past definitely have triggered an outbreak. MooGoo completely cleared up the bits of adult acne I had, and even improved the texture of my skin in terms of scarring and pore size.

I've converted my whole family to MooGoo and sing its praises whenever my skin or skincare in general is brought up. It's sorted out my brother's persistent eczema and worked more effectively than my mum's expensive anti-aging creams.

MooGoo, I cannot thank you enough! You've made an affordable, effective product with a great ethos that works wonders. You've got a lifelong customer in me!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
(Oz,NSW)
